Underfloor heating and uncoupling
Vario PRO is a fast track electric underfloor heating system that creates a comfortable, warm room as well as providing a stable, bonded tiled floor that is not vulnerable to uncoupling, cracks and issues caused by challenging substrates.
The Vario ProMat membrane is laid over the entire floor surface and the TwistedTwin™ heating cable is installed in the areas where heat and extra comfort is required. Vario PRO provides the perfect stable and heated substrate for tiled floor finishes.
Low profile 5.5mm floor build up
Vario PRO, including Vario ProMat and Vario PRO heating cables, has a buildup of just 5.5mm making it perfect for a variety of retrofit applications where low buildup is critical.
Also perfectly suited to provide underfloor heating and lateral stability in new build applications.

The electric underfloor heating system
Vario PRO electric underfloor heating uses our unique quality TwistedTwin underfloor heating cable that can be installed in the uncoupling membrane to provide gentle warmth in the desired areas. This is an efficient and luxurious way to heat a bathroom or any room with a tiled floor.
Easy installation
Vario PRO is easy to install. Fix the uncoupling membrane to the floor using a flexible tile adhesive and then lay the electric underfloor heating cable into the grooves in the matting until you've covered the desired area. Tiles can then be laid directly over the uncoupling membrane and underfloor heating cable.
Thermostats and controls
Vario PRO can be controlled by any of the thermostats in our range including the Thermotouch 4.3iC programmable touchscreen and the Touchscreen 8259 stat.
All the benefits in one fast track solution
The heating cable has an output of 12W/Lm and will provide 130W/m2 when spaced at 3 rows and 195W/m2 when spaced at 2 rows. How do I work out what I need?
Calculate your total floor space in m2
Calculate the area that you want to heat in m2
Purchase the right amount of Vario ProMat to cover the total floor space
Decide if you need 130W/m2 or 195W/m2 and choose a heating cable to fit your area (see chart)
Choose a thermostat to control your new electric underfloor heating system
