Constraints

Do not use on substrates that are:
bituminous, based on natural rubber or continuously immersed.
Sensitive metals, such as mirror-silver, lead and copper, and some natural stones, such as marble, will be affected by the acid released during cure.
Not suitable for aquaria, commercial food processing or medical applications.
Overpainting is not recommended.

Preparation

Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or any other contaminating barrier. For acrylic baths it is recommended that an adhesion test is carried out.
The joint should be designed to be at least 6 mm wide and 6 mm deep. When making fillet joints, at least 6 mm sealant bite onto each surface is recommended.
Surfaces should be masked with tape to ensure a neat sealant line.

Application

Acetic acid is produced during cure.
Use only in well ventilated areas.

Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.

Carefully cut the tip of the cartridge and then cut the nozzle at a 45° angle and fix to the cartridge. The nozzle should be cut slightly larger than the joint to be filled.

Gun the sealant evenly into the joint. Tool the joint within 5 - 10 minutes with a spatula wetted with soapy water. This is essential to achieve a good bond to the substrate and provide a smooth finish. Remove any masking tape immediately after tooling.

Clean off any excess material or spillages and tools before the sealant cures
