Delivery

Providing goods are in stock, our commitment is to deliver within 48 working hours of receipt of order, however we do have to implement cut off times to enable orders to be picked and packed. These will be your guide.

Order before Monday 12 noon
Goods will be delivery on Wednesday

Order after noon Monday but before 12 noon on Tuesday
Goods will be delivery on Thursday

Order after noon Tuesday but before 12 noon on Wednesday
Goods will be delivery on Friday

Order after noon Wednesday but before 12 noon on Thursday
Goods will be delivery on Monday

Order after noon Thursday but before 12 noon on Friday
Goods will be delivery on Tuesday

Order Friday after noon, Saturday or Sunday
Goods will be delivery on Wednesday

All orders will be delivered by a tail-lift lorry (with pump truck) so it is important that any restricted access details are advised prior to delivery. The load will be dropped, at the driver's discretion, to the nearest and safest point to your property. The driver cannot help with the handling of tiles into your property, so please try to arrange for somebody to help with the offload

Pall-Ex normally call 1 hour before delivery.

If you are not at the address of delivery when delivery is made,
you will be charged for re-delivery or you will have to collect from your local delivery depot.
Most nationwide deliveries are between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm.

Do we have to be in?

Yes you do, for security reasons, it is necessary to get a signature for your tiles, unless specific delivery instructions are given in writing to leave them somewhere. If the tiles are left, Tile Town do not accept any further liability for the tiles.

should the pallet not have the stack-stop cone on or the pallet has been wrapped in a black shrinkwrap, please check items and follow instructions below, the proof of delivery document MUST be signed stating "goods damaged".

Damages to your delivery.
You must check that all tiles are in good order before signing your paperwork (otherwise known as Proof of Delivery) if there are any visible damages to these tiles then this must be written on the paperwork i.e. 12 tiles damaged, please notify us immediately on 01332 293030 followed by an email to info@tiletown.co.uk with photographic evidence of broken/damaged tiles.
It will be deemed to be acceptable if there are 1 or 2 broken tiles, due to the nature of tiles and in this instance we would recommend that you attempt to use them where cuts are necessary.
